Komainu is a Japanese-style Rice Lager. Light, smooth and dry with added body from the flaked rice.
The name Komainu, translates to “lion dog” in English, but are the statues of mythical lion-like creatures commonly found in Japanese Shinto shrines. They are considered protectors against evil spirits.
Always found in pairs, they are much like our own logo of 2 noble lions cheersing and high-fiving. 🍻🙏🏼
